Intermediate-Senior Interior Designer / Interior Architect

Our firm is looking for a talented and experienced interior designer that is excited to collaborate and is a team player. We are offering a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded individual with the ability to lead, contribute, facilitate, and manage the overall design process. This role requires assisting with our existing dedicated client base, and developing new client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client consultation to determine goals, design intent, schedule, & budget

  • Review sites, conduct field measurements, & produce as-built drawings

  • Interpret program data & develop space plan requirements with applicable codes

  • Establish conceptual design direction, develop plans, elevations, & architectural detailing for interior construction documents

  • Research & selection of product, finishes, lighting, furniture, & art

  • Develop color/finish selections related to interior products & incorporate into finished working drawings for specification

  • 3D rendering to support design for collaborative presentations

  • Assist in budgeting, estimating, project organization, & presentations

  • Maintain changes, revision, product specifications, & client communication

  • Lead construction administration phase, responding to RFIs & COs, reviewing shop drawings & field site reviews, & installation

  • Maintain in-office organization along with all staff members

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited architectural or interior design program

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with architectural or commercial design firm with construction documents

  • Strong knowledge of interior design field/suppliers & current trends

  • Understand workplace design issues such as: ergonomics, technology integration, etc.

  • Technologically savvy and current with all relevant technology including: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D rendering - Enscape, Microsoft & Goggle Suite software

  • Working knowledge of applicable commercial building codes

  • Understanding of furniture processes including: order preparation, project management, order management, & delivery/installation

  • Owns responsibility in execution of tasks & demonstrates excellent follow through

  • Strategic problem-solving & ability to generate new ideas that add value

  • Style, demeanor, & personality appropriate for client interactions and presentations

  • NCIDQ or State Certification preferred

Revit / AutoCAD for Interior Architecture / Design

Our firm is looking for an experienced Revit/AutoCAD talent to collaborate with our interiors and architectural team to design and produce industry standard full sets of interior construction documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and document project sites, conduct field measurements, & produce as-built drawings

  • Develop plans, elevations, & architectural detailing for interior construction documents

  • 3D rendering (Revit/ Enscape) to support design for collaborative presentations

  • Assist in budgeting, estimating, project organization, & presentations

  • Maintain changes, revision, product specifications, & client communication

  • Participate in administration phase, responding to RFIs & COs, reviewing shop drawings and field site reviews, & installation

  • Maintain in-office organization along with all staff members

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an architectural or interior design drafting program

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with architectural or design firm handling construction documents

  • Technologically savvy and current with all relevant technology including: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D rendering - Inscape, Microsoft & Google Suite software

  • Working knowledge of applicable commercial interior building codes

  • Understanding of furniture placements and clearances a plus

  • Owns responsibility in execution of tasks & demonstrates excellent follow through

  • Collaborative and team player with good communication skills
